It was a cool morning. The sun appeared on the horizon with all of its radiant beauty. But today there was something unusual. It felt as if something was about to break loose, like a galaxy, a new star that had been on the making for millions of years was about to be brought forth. It is one of those countless miracles that happen every day which go unnoticed by most people, they are too busy to pay attention to the small things in their lives.
Little they know that without little things there would not be big things. Every bit adds up in this wonderful and beautiful Universe.
The excitement of waiting was about to come to an end. No more pacing up and down the hall, with heavy thoughts of failure and success.
A worried man is like a nova, except that novas expand outwards whereas humans contract inwards lost in the space of heavy or light thoughts.
Suddenly the double door swung open and a man donning a white coat came out and announced that everything had gone alright. A new child had been born. That child was you.
What a difference your birth made in the life of your family. For long years they nurtured you with loving and tender care, all of the best your parents could give you. The hope was always that you grew up to be strong and happy.
Happiness is such a precious feeling that can be contained in a heart and yet it can be as large as a cluster of stars.
No price tag can it be put on happiness. No store can sell it. It springs forth from deep within us and it can shine like a sun or if we choose the wrong path in life it can be as heavy as a black hole.
Life. How many of you out there ever stop to think and value such a precious gift? Perhaps very few. Too busy with daily life to bother to think.
Why bother when thoughts are already made and given to you packed in photons from a TV set or as sound waves from a radio show. Why bother thinking you say.
Everything is readymade in this accelerated modern society that is heading towards disaster with only few people caring and telling you that things should be done otherwise. And yet again you are too busy to see the end of the road and could care less if it does not hurt you as yet.
We are taught to pay attention to grand things which at the end of the road they turn out to be small, too small so they go unnoticed most of the time and yet they are the ones that make sense out of this life that is indeed very short.
Where are you now? Are you ready to give a bit of your happiness to anyone that is not you? Would you care to make happy anyone around you even for a short while? Perhaps for a longer time?
Time. Yes time, the mysterious force that shapes our lives and cannot be measured notwithstanding we struggle to squeeze it into a simple watch.
Do you feel your heart right now? That busy pump that keeps you alive every second of your busy life.
Where are you now? Are you ready to expand a bit your life beyond the walls within which society enclosed you since your birth?
Perhaps so. If so, let us start considering other sentient beings that accompany you along the road and that have been here on this planet long before you or any of us of our species.
Longer, much longer, for their lineages are lost in the labyrinths of time. Bit of stars on Earth busy providing linkages to make the web of life on Earth stronger for future brethren who were as yet only dreams in the realm of hopes.
Yes. We owe them a lot. In fact, we owe them everything. And yet we are so blind to turn our backs on them, feeling callously … too busy to give them even a thought.
Yes. Now is the time … Tomorrow is already here and we are about to cross the border of destiny with no hope of return should we continued full force as we go.
Spare some time for those brethren who gave their star energy to give you some light for your candle that has just been lit. For we are new comers along this road that is full of sparks called species. No matter how small or how big they are or were, their lives soothed our way as new or long gone stars on planet Earth.
The spark of love your parents have given you was not theirs, for it was a gift from them, from those species that came before anyone of us.
Expand this love like a nova and sprinkle your brethren with this spark that was passed along. Do not keep it to yourself. That is not the way it is was meant to be.
Break the wall that imprison you, be it fashion, taste or idea. Let the light of your heart shine through and beyond yourself, that shell that keeps you away from seeing as you should see life: as a caring and considerate being and loving towards others sentient beings as yourself that happen to be along your way whilst you sojourn this beautiful Earth.
There is life after change. But a change is not a change unless it can bring light to those dark corners of the dungeons where our ignorance has thrown our brethren who gave us light long before we were even an idea in the realm of the unborn.
Here is where you can expand and give forth and pass along some of that spark passed to you by your parents. Please take the time to consider spreading that which is not yours but theirs: your life.
Make some room for love in such a busy and unfeeling world. Make some sense out of this vastness of cruelty we have created for those sentient beings we called unfairly “food”.
Here is your opportunity to make room for love. Let your heart be a nova of love. Black holes, uncaring and selfish we already have plenty amongst us.
Be different and follow the path of righteousness as you want to be done unto you. That is indeed the way. Start radiating love towards our brethren suffering under our brutal chains.
Let us show them we are worth being their children of their light put forth a long time ago, long forgotten but still as strong as ever in every corner of the precious web of life on planet Earth.
The following report is of great concern to all of us and we should all do something about it to straighten its crooked course:

EU DAIRY FARMING INVESTIGATION
In the summer of 2012, Compassion in World Farming initiated a series of undercover investigations into dairy farming within the European Union. Investigators visited over 50 farms in Germany, Denmark and Spain. What they found was shocking.

Investigation into the farming of dairy cows in Europe
In many of the farms visited cows were kept indoors throughout the year and were never allowed out to graze on pasture. Often they are kept in barren, overcrowded, unhygienic conditions with no straw or other bedding.
In Germany many cows were tethered by chains, sometimes 24 hours a day all year round. All they can do is stand up, lie down and move a few steps backwards, forwards or sideways.
Whilst the footage we obtained comes from three countries, the conditions in which cows live is unlikely to be limited to just those countries.
The issue of dairy cow welfare is an extremely serious one, both in terms of the numbers involved and the length of time that they suffer for.
Read the eyewitness accounts of our investigators.
European Commission must be made aware of the conditions in which some of Europe’s dairy cows exist. To take action, please visit www.ciwf.org/dairytruth and call for much needed legislation to guarantee minimum welfare standards for Europe’s dairy cows.
Across the EU many cows suffer from painful and debilitating illnesses such as lameness and mastitis. Inadequate care and poor living conditions are all too frequent because there are no rules in place to protect dairy cows. We need to act now to protect dairy cows from this suffering.
Unlike pigs and hens, the EU has no specific legislation covering the welfare of Europe’s 23 million dairy cows – leaving them unprotected and at risk.
Together with our partners Ben & Jerry’s and Compassion in World Farming, the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) is calling for new rules to protect dairy cows across Europe.
Please sign our petition today and tell the European Commission to start protecting dairy cows.
Your name will be added to a letter we will send to the Commissioner, Members of the European Parliament and the Agriculture Ministers of the EU Member States.

Please let me finish this post radiating novalike my light which is Theirs, with happiness and hopes in my heart and thinking that perhaps you may have given some thought to your ways along the way which should be a straight way for the way of Their way: Our Brethren, who although have voices we as yet do not understand we insist in calling them "voiceless".
Nevertheless they are "voiceless" because we keep them prisoners and we behave as uncaring persons towards fully sentient persons notwithstanding we have yet grant them full rights as those we enjoy ourselves. That should be our goal. Then we can say we have arrived in a new era: The Era of Light.
My many thanks go to two precious Ring Neck Doves (Streptopelia decaocto) who passed away today (11th January 2013) and yet left me with a lot of Their Light to brighten up my way in my struggle to see the Light. They have been my source of inspiration, for I am Their Inspiration.
I dedicate this writing to them. Their memory shall be with me as long as I live. Bless the day I decided to give my offering of food to them in my garden shared with many a species of feathered creatures small and big during these winter days when birds, our brethren, have a hard time finding sustainance.
We all have as yet to learn to be more fully thankful towards all of our brethren on Earth.
